Basketball Game Preview: Teton Timberwolves vs. Snake River Panthers

The Teton Timberwolves will face off against the Snake River Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Teton came up short against Sugar-Salem and fell 59-52. The Timberwolves have struggled against the Diggers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Snake River was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 67-62 to Marsh Valley. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Eagles are ranked 65th).

Teton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Snake River, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-3.

Teton came up short against Snake River in their previous matchup back in January, falling 53-44. Can Teton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
