Basketball Game Preview: East Lake Eagles vs. Palm Harbor University Hurricanes

East Lake has gone 10-0 against Palm Harbor University recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The East Lake Eagles will square off against the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes at 8:00 p.m.

East Lake will head out to face Palm Harbor University after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. East Lake fell 59-51 to Boca Ciega.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jordan Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted four or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Andre Willis, who posted 14 points.

Meanwhile, Palm Harbor University beat Pinellas Park 53-46 on Monday.

Palm Harbor University's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-14. As for East Lake, their defeat ended a 20-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-6.

Everything came up roses for East Lake against Palm Harbor University when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the squad secured an 81-51 victory. In that contest, East Lake amassed a halftime lead of 47-22, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
