The Rosewood Eagles will face off against the Midway Raiders at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Rosewood put up the most  points they have all season  last Friday. They took their  matchup  with ease, bagging  a  40-0 victory over Spring Creek. The  win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won four in a row.
 Bryson Hobbs had a dynamite game, rushing for 137 yards on only five carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rosewood was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 211  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Midway, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They came out on top against Wallace-Rose Hill by a score of  42-35  on Friday.
 The match pitted two dominant  backs against one another in  Wesley Tew and  Jamarae Lamb. Tew had a great game and rushed for 170 yards and a pair of  TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Meanwhile,  Lamb was balling out in the loss, rushing for 317 yards and three  scores while picking up 14.4 yards per carry.
 Rosewood picked up their first road  victory, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Midway, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
 Rosewood took a serious blow against Midway  when the teams last played  back in September of 2016, falling  46-13. Thankfully for the Eagles,  Sha'King Warren (who rushed for 136 yards and three  touchdowns on only 15 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
