Mooreville waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Kossuth Aggies. The Troopers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 games by six runs or more this season.

Mooreville pushed their record up to 25-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Kossuth, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-8 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mooreville beat the Aggies by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.
