If Salem Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Caldwell Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Stella Streng. The Eagles blew past the Sabers 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Streng, who had six digs and six aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Caldwell Academy took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-9.

Caldwell Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Salem Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Caldwell Academy will head out on the road to face off against Westchester Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Salem Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
