The Point Loma Pointers will head out on the road to square off against the Granite Hills Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Granite Hills took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Point Loma, who comes in off a win.
Point Loma put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They put the hurt on Madison with a sharp 9-2 win.
Abbie Hindman looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
At the plate, Annika Isaacson and Leyton MacPherson did most of the damage at the plate: Isaacson scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while MacPherson scored a run while going 3-for-4. Point Loma has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Granite Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Thankfully for Point Loma, Catie Dobbs (who pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits) won't be suiting up this time.
