Soccer Game Preview: Leander vs. Lehman

The Leander Lions will square off against the Lehman Lobos at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Leander came up short against Cedar Park and fell 4-2. Leander have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lehman). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Glenn on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Lehman's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 691st, while Glenn are ranked 218th).

Lehman hit Glenn with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Falco Luna, Jonathon Rosales, and Rodrigo Carranza.

Leander's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-4. As for Lehman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9-1.

Leander beat Lehman 4-2 when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lobos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
