Volleyball Recap: Mattoon Victorious

After losing to Tri-Valley the last time they met, Mattoon decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Greenwave had just enough and edged out the Vikings 2-1.

Brooke Jobe was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matches.

Mattoon's record is now 13-14. As for Tri-Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

Mattoon has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Champaign Central on the 4th. As for Tri-Valley, they will head out to face off against Tremont at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
