Basketball Recap: Caney Valley Find Success

Caney Valley is still undefeated this season after their game against Dewey on Friday, but Dewey came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Caney Valley Bullpups narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Dewey Bulldoggers 49-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bullpups have posted against the Bulldoggers since February 14, 2017.

Caney Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caney Valley will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Nowata at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
