Monument Valley has gone 9-1 against Tuba City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Monument Valley Mustangs will look to defend their home court against the Tuba City Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Two weeks ago, Monument Valley might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Coolidge an easy 47-26 victory. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Bears are ranked 54th).

Meanwhile, Tuba City scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Arete Prep by a score of 79-76. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (74), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Tuba City has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Monument Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Monument Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Tuba City in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 68-58. Does Monument Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tuba City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
