Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. Lincoln Fighting Zebras

The Kennedy Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Lincoln Fighting Zebras at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Kennedy came up short against Antelope and fell 3-1.

While Kennedy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 22-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lincoln, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past Marysville 3-0 on Monday. The Fighting Zebras haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Lincoln never let Marysville on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-23.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Lincoln, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.
