Volleyball Recap: Westosha Central Falcons vs. Grayslake Central Rams

Westosha Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grayslake Central Rams. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Rams when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Anna Hansen paced Westosha Central's offense, picking up six kills. Hansen got some help from Payton Scifres and her 17 assists. Scifres was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Westosha Central's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Grayslake Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Westosha Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Beloit Memorial on the 30th.
