Soccer Recap: Lee Plays to a Tie

Lee came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and the Nederland Bulldogs finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Ganders' first draw of the season.

Lee's draw gives them a new season record of 0-3-1. Meanwhile, Nederland's record is now 2-6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee will challenge Barbers Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barbers Hill's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Nederland, they will face off against West Brook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nederland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
