Softball Recap: Reading Takes a Loss

Reading was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Governor Mifflin Mustangs, falling 21-5. The Red KNights were not able to make up for their loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Reading's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Governor Mifflin, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reading will challenge Conrad Weiser at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Governor Mifflin, they will square off against Warwick at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
