Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics waltzed into their match on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 51-22 victory over the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 109th in South Carolina, while the Hurricanes are ranked 441st in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Caroline McGee was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 17 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kacee Weaver, who posted nine points.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coastal HomeSchool only eight assists.

Rae HeidtHarris and Brooklyn Lariscy certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. HeidtHarris put up six points, while Lariscy almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 33-27 defeat against Greenville H on the 15th. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they have also already played their next contest, a 44-40 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 14th.
