Soccer Recap: Oakleaf Takes a Loss

Oakleaf lost against Beachside back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Oakleaf Knights lost 3-0 to the Beachside Barracudas. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Barracudas are ranked 58th).

Oakleaf has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season. As for Beachside, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakleaf will host Bishop Snyder at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beachside, they will welcome Nease at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
