Whittier RVT and Greater Lowell Tech are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Gryphons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Whittier RVT not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10th (when they won 13-3). Everything went their way against Winthrop as they made off with an 11-3 win.

Anthony Giangregorio was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of David Tateosian, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Greater Lowell Tech came out on top against Tyngsborough on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Gryphons walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gryphons.

Whittier RVT's record now sits at 5-7. As for Greater Lowell Tech, their record is now 6-4.

Whittier RVT might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Greater Lowell Tech in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
