            There's no place like home for Colby, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Saturday. They blew past Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy 3-0 on Tuesday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Hornets this season.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Colby took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12,  25-8.

Colby can attribute much of their success to  Elizabeth Perez, who  had four  aces and three  digs. Those  four  aces gave  Perez a new career-high.
 Perez wasn't the only good server: Colby  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 16  aces. The Hornets are  a perfect 3-0 when  they serve at least ten aces.
Colby's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Coming up, Colby will challenge Rib Lake at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Redmen will roll in looking for their  12th straight  victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gibraltar at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 16th.
