Softball Recap: Coventry's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Coventry and Hale Ray squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Coventry had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Noises by a score of 3-2. The Patriots were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matches prior), but the Noises' pitchers proved too tough.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coventry fell to 3-1. As for Hale Ray, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Coventry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hale Ray, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial on the 6th.
