Recap: Clarksburg Coyotes vs. Einstein Titans
The Clarksburg Coyotes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Einstein. Clarksburg was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Einstein to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nasir Speight, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Speight has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tekli Adhanom, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds.
Clarksburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Einstein, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Clarksburg will take on the Bengals at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Blake presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Coyotes in Maryland (the Bengals are ranked 85th, while the Coyotes are ranked 242nd). As for Einstein, they will head out on the road to take on the Colonels at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Magruder will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
