Baseball Recap: Northwest Webster Takes a Loss

Northwest Webster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Emmetsburg E'Hawks, falling 16-3. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 11-5 to the E'Hawks when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Northwest Webster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Emmetsburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Northwest Webster didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-4 loss against West Bend-Mallard on the 19th. As for Emmetsburg, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-2 victory against Sioux Central on the 19th.
