Volleyball Recap: Blaine Comes Up Short

Blaine entered their game against Jefferson on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bengals fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-2. The Bengals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2017.

Blaine's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Blaine will face off against Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to challenge Benilde-St. Margaret's at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
