Volleyball Recap: FAU High Comes Up Short

After flying high against David Posnack Jewish Day on Thursday, FAU High came back down to earth. The Owls took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King's Academy Lions on Friday. The Owls were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in October of 2018.

Alanis Molina was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven digs and three aces.

FAU High now has a losing record of 5-6. As for King's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, FAU High and King's Academy will both be playing West Boca Raton the next time they take the court. The Owls will head out to face the Bulls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
