Chesterfield and North Central are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Golden Rams will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. Chesterfield has given up an average of 29.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over Buford. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 26 points or more this season.

North Central pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.7 points over those games. As for Chesterfield, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Chesterfield came up short against North Central in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 40-35. Thankfully for the Golden Rams, Jonathan Clarkson (who rushed for 252 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
