Basketball Recap: Enterprise Find Success

If West Valley wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Enterprise, they should've done a better job of containing Alijah Collins. The Enterprise Hornets came out on top against the West Valley Eagles by a score of 79-72 on Monday thanks in part to Collins, who went 13 of 22 en route to 35 points in addition to five assists and five boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

When it comes to explaining why West Valley lost, don't look at Jordan Heacock. Despite the final result, he went 10 for 21 on his way to 28 points and seven rebounds. Zack Boemeke was another key player, going 6 of 13 en route to 14 points and eight boards.

Enterprise's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for West Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enterprise will challenge Red Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Valley, they will take on Lassen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season.
