Softball Recap: Champion Golden Flashes vs. Norwayne Bobcats        
        
		
            
 With a playoff game on the line, Champion rose to the challenge  on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Norwayne Bobcats with a sharp  11-2 victory. The result was nothing new for Champion, who have now won 18 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Gabrielle Gradishar made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out 16 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits. Gradishar has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 15 consecutive pitching appearances. Gradishar was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Sam Strock was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.  Addison Warzala was another key contributor,  going 2-for-5 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 The  win (which was Champion's fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-4. As for Norwayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
 As of now, neither Champion nor Norwayne have any future games scheduled.
