Oak Hill took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They strolled past Western with points to spare, taking the game 37-19.

Meanwhile, South Gallia came tearing into Saturday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tomcats, posting a 47-17 victory. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

South Gallia pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.8 points per game. As for Oak Hill, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15.
