Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against Colonia back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 5-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

April Ho made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Vicky Gabryszewski, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Colonia, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

While Franklin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
