Baseball Recap: Carver Montgomery Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Carver Montgomery finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They lost 24-2 to the Park Crossing Thunderbirds. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolverines have suffered against the Thunderbirds since April 6, 2019.

Carver Montgomery's record now sits at 5-7. As for Park Crossing, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver Montgomery will take on Dothan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Carver Montgomery their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Park Crossing, they will head out to challenge Pike Road at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Park Crossing is facing Pike Road at the right time seeing as Pike Road is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
