Basketball Game Preview: Bruce Red Raiders vs. Siren Dragons

The Bruce Red Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Siren Dragons at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Siren took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bruce, who comes in off a win.

Bruce took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Clayton 40-37. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Raiders as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Siren came up short against Clear Lake on Tuesday, falling 66-43. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 439th, while the Warriors are ranked 69th).

Bruce's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Siren, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Bruce took their victory against Siren when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 83-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bruce since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
