Basketball Game Preview: Randolph County Tigers vs. Woodland Bobcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Randolph County Tigers challenge the Woodland Bobcats at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday... Randolph County is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Last Monday, Randolph County took a blow against Munford, falling 69-42. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while the Lions are ranked 213th).

Meanwhile, Woodland played a tough matchup last Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Jacksonville Christian Academy 82-46. The Bobcats were down 60-35 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Woodland has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Randolph County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Randolph County came up short against Woodland in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 52-41. Can Randolph County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
