Basketball Game Preview: Victory Prep Academy Knights vs. Denver Jewish Day Tigers

The Victory Prep Academy Knights will challenge the Denver Jewish Day Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row dating back to last season, Victory Prep Academy turned things around against Beth Eden Baptist back in December of 2024. They snuck past the Knights with a 27-22 win.

Victory Prep Academy can attribute much of their success to Ariana Orozco, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eztansur Palmer, who earned five points.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Denver Jewish Day over Rocky Mountain Lutheran in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Everything went Denver Jewish Day's way against Rocky Mountain Lutheran as Denver Jewish Day made off with a 38-14 victory.

The win got Denver Jewish Day back to even at 1-1. As for Victory Prep Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.
