After a string of 14 wins, Cathedral's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Glenbard West Hilltoppers by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Cathedral sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 15-10.

Jaden Greenwell paced Cathedral's offense, picking up 12 kills. Greenwell got some help from Nick Whitley and his 27 assists.

Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Glenbard West, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Cathedral has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lake Park on the 3rd. As for Glenbard West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Downers Grove North on the 3rd.
