Eldorado is a perfect 4-0 against Santa Fe since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Golden Eagles will be playing at home against the Demons at 10:00 a.m. Eldorado is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Eldorado is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Los Lunas, who was ranked tenth at the time (Eldorado was ranked sixth). The Golden Eagles came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 7-4 on Thursday.

Brody Hoffman was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
The home team had won the previous six meetings between Santa Fe and Manzano, and Manzano kept the tradition alive. The Demons took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monarchs on Wednesday. The Demons haven't had much luck with the Monarchs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Matthew Armijo and Isaac Glass stepped up to the plate in a big way. Armijo went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles, while Glass went 2-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. Austin Tokoroyama was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Eldorado pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Fe, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-19.
Santa Fe's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eldorado has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .468. It's a different story for Santa Fe, though, as they've only averaged .352. Will they be able to contain Eldorado's hitters?
Everything went Eldorado's way against Santa Fe in their previous matchup back in April of 2018, as Eldorado made off with a 12-2 win. Do the Golden Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Demons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
