Softball Recap: Delaware Valley Comes Up Short

Delaware Valley suffered their closest loss since May 8, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Nottingham Northstars by a score of 3-1. The match marked the Terriers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Delaware Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Liskowacki, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Delaware Valley and nudges their season record down to 7-2. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Nottingham, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
