Football Recap: Jaiden Dunn Leads Tenoroc's Defense on Friday

Weeki Wachee came into Friday's game looking for another win against Tenoroc, but Jaidon Furman wouldn't allow it. The Titans secured a 26-22 W over the Hornets on Friday thanks in part to Furman, who rushed for 166 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 51 yards.

Tenoroc didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jaiden Dunn, Elijah Douglas, and Jordan Christian picked up one apiece. Tayvon Norton was another major factor on D, making 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

When it comes to explaining why Weeki Wachee lost, don't look at Leelen Wright. Despite the final result, he rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

The win got Tenoroc back to even at 1-1. As for Weeki Wachee, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Tenoroc wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-6 defeat against Lake Placid on the 12th. As for Weeki Wachee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-6 victory against Central on the 12th.
