Sidney piles up the points against Walton

Recap: Sidney Team vs. Walton Warriors
The Sidney Team scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They really took it to Walton for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-32 victory at home. Sidney pushed the score to 50-23 by the end of the third, a deficit Walton had little chance of recovering from.
Despite the defeat, Walton saw an underclassman step up: Kennedy Williams scored ten points along with two steals. Williams hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Sidney now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Walton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sidney won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Horseheads at 7:45 p.m. on January 26th. Horseheads will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Walton, they will head out on the road to square off against Delaware Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Delaware Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Walton in New York (Delaware Academy is ranked 127th, while Walton is ranked 303rd).
