Basketball Recap: Inola Takes a Loss

Inola won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They took a blow against the Stilwell Indians, falling 71-43. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Indians are ranked 67th).

Inola's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Stilwell, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Inola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 70-44 defeat against Fort Gibson on the 24th. Stilwell has also already played their next game, a 56-52 loss against Cushing on the 24th.
