Baseball Recap: Ferris Comes Up Short

If Ferris was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Dickinson on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the St. Peter's Prep Marauders on Monday, falling 14-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for St. Peter's Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

While Ferris had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
