Basketball Game Preview: Shenandoah Raiders vs. Eastern Hancock Royals

Two dominant guards in Gabbi Patrick and McKenzie Koch are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Shenandoah Raiders will host the Eastern Hancock Royals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shenandoah has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Shenandoah is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Cambridge City Lincoln to the tune of 68-12 on Saturday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Eastern Hancock suffered their biggest defeat since December 27, 2024 on Saturday. They were outmatched by Valparaiso and fell 80-38. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Royals' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Shenandoah now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Eastern Hancock, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Shenandoah came up short against Eastern Hancock in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 57-47. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Koch, who went 8-for-17 to rack up 22 points along with six steals and five assists.
