Baseball Recap: Wilson Memorial Green Hornets vs. Turner Ashby Knights

Wilson Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Turner Ashby Knights. The Green Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Parker Baucom was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Ryan McDaniel also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
