Softball Recap: Stevenson Extends Winning Streak to Six

Stevenson won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Spartans blew past the Patriots 17-2. Considering the Spartans have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the sixth in a row for Stevenson, bringing their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
