Baseball Game Preview: Rock Hill Bearcats vs. Nation Ford Falcons

For the second straight game, Rock Hill will face off against Nation Ford. The Bearcats will host the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Having struggled with ten defeats in a row, Rock Hill turned things around against Nation Ford on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Falcons. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Rock Hill is 2-1 when Brogdon posts two or more runs, but 2-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Blake Fisher, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Nation Ford has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Rock Hill, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 4-11.
