Volleyball Recap: Cranston West Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cranston West was the 3-1 winner over Westerly when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs on Friday.

While Cranston West ultimately came up short, they really made Westerly work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 28-26, 25-10.

Westerly was led to victory by Ella Keegan and Lila Wycall. Keegan had 12 digs and seven aces, while Wycall had seven digs. Those seven aces gave Keegan a new career-high.

Cranston West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Westerly, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cranston West will face off against Barrington at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Westerly, they will take on Prout at 6:00 p.m. on October 6.
