Governor's School for Science & Math was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 72-64 to the Midlands STEM Charter Mavericks. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Governor's School for Science & Math's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Midlands STEM Charter, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-15.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lee Central the next time they take the court. Governor's School for Science & Math will host Lee Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Midlands STEM Charter will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
