East Poinsett County came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves as they made off with a 15-4 win. 15 seems to be a good number for the Warriors as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

East Poinsett County's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Cedar Ridge, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Poinsett County will challenge Manila at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cedar Ridge, they will head out to face off against Mammoth Spring at 4:00 p.m. on the 31st. Cedar Ridge is facing Mammoth Spring at the right time seeing as Mammoth Spring is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
