Brookstone extended their postseason success on Thursday against First Presbyterian Day. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 9-3 victory. Considering the Cougars have won 15 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Brookstone got a big performance out of Harrison Baker, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Baker a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mercer Hudson, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI and one double.

Brookstone has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season. As for First Presbyterian Day, they moved to 32-4 with that loss, which also ended their 22-game winning streak.

Brookstone will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
