Rocklin is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. Payton Prior was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off 11 hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Katie Wetteland was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.
