It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Estes Park ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Lyons Lions 8-6. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Drake Kearney was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles, and one triple. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Cole Ingram also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Estes Park's record is now 4-9. As for Lyons, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Estes Park will square off against rival Clear Creek at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lyons is set to take on their familiar foe Denver Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
