It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Norland had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 14-13 victory over the Jensen Beach Falcons. The Vikings are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Paige Bressman and Lizzie Fitzwater certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Bressman threw for 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 74.2% of her passes, while Fitzwater picked up 46 receiving yards and one score.

Norland's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.2 points on average over those games. As for Jensen Beach, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Coming up, Norland will square off against Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. Jensen Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
